The Honor 8X will be available in three variants. The base model with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM is priced at RMB 1,399 (approximately Rs 14,700). The mid variant with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM is priced at RMB 1,599 (approximately Rs 16,800). The top variant with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM is priced at RMB 1,899 (approximately Rs 20,000). As far as specifications are concerned, the Honor 8X flaunts a 6.5-inch FHD+ TFT IPS display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core, and a 3,750mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
For photography, there is a dual-camera setup (20-megapixel + 2-megapixel) at the back. Up front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Other features include triple card slots, fingerprint sensor, and connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS. On the software front, the device runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2.0.

The Honor 8X Max, as the name suggests, is the bigger of the two new devices. It flaunts a massive 7.12-inch FHD+ TFT IPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. There is also a variant with Snapdragon 660 chipset and 6GB RAM that will be arriving later in October.
For photography, the phablet features a dual-camera setup (16-megapixel + 2-megapixel) at the back. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel snapper with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. Making sure everything ticks is a 5,000mAh battery, and there is also a fingerprint sensor for security. The device also comes with the usual bevy of connectivity options, and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo wrapped under EMUI 8.2.0.
