The much-rumored Honor 8X series smartphones will be launching tomorrow (September 5) in China. With just a day to the launch, teasers and leaks continue to surface online. The latest teaser spotted on Weibo reiterates the presence of bezel-less screens on both the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max.

The new teaser on Honor’s Weibo account hints at over 90 percent screen-to-body ratio on both the Honor 8X and 8X Max. With most smartphones these days opting for taller displays with thin bezels on the sides, this teaser doesn’t really come as a surprise. The high screen-to-body ratio was also pretty much seen on previously leaked images.

Previous leaks have also hinted towards big displays on the upcoming Honor smartphones. The Honor 8X is expected to flaunt a 6.5-inch display, while the 8X Max will flaunt a gigantic 7.12-inch screen. Both displays are expected to run FHD+ resolution, feature 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and come with a small notch at the top.

Honor 8X expected specifications, features

The Honor 8X recently passed TENAA, and the listing has given us a fair idea on its specifications and features. The smartphone is expected to feature a FHD+ display, Snapdragon 660 chipset, and 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage options.

Other features include a dual-camera setup (20-megapixel+2-megapixel), 16-megapixel selfie camera, and 3,650mAh battery. It will run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Honor 8X Max expected specifications, features

The bigger Honor 8X Max too will feature a FHD+ display, Snapdragon 660 SoC, and similar memory options. The dual-camera setup on this device though is expected to come with a combination of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. Other features include an 8-megapixel selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support, and Dolby Atmos 360 surround sound.

If a teaser is to be believed, Honor will be launching another product besides the two smartphones. This would be the rumored Honor Band 4. As the name suggests, this would be the successor to last year’s Honor Band 3.
