From the images posted on Weibo, it’s quite clear that the Honor 8X will be a massive device. The smartphone looks pretty tall and quite frankly impossible to use in one hand. The alleged images also confirm the Honor 8X to features a circular notch, which had been suggested by previous leaks. It will only be housing the front camera module. There are thin bezels around the screen, and a reasonably thin chin at the bottom, which also carries the Honor branding. While an image of the back panel is also posted, it doesn’t look very clear and fails to reveal any details. Also Read - Honor Band 6 takes on Redmi Watch in India, gets listed on Flipkart
Based on previous leaks, the Honor 8X is suggested to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636/660 SoC. It will also most likely be boasting 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with an option to expand the storage further with the help of a microSD card. The 7.12-inch screen is said to sport a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9.
In the photography department, the smartphone could feature a dual camera setup at the back, which is said to boast a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor running alongside a 2-megapixel sensor. An 8-megapixel front camera is also expected.
