The Honor 8X clearly stands out from the other two smartphones. It comes with front and back glass design. In fact, the back has a nice dual texture reflective finish, something that you don’t easily see on mid-range devices. The Mi A2 and Zenfone Max Pro M1, on the other hand, come with metal back, something that has now become common in this price range.
Talking about display, all three smartphones flaunt a panel with Full HD+ resolution. The Mi A2 and Zenfone Max Pro M1, both feature 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The Honor 8X, comes with a slightly larger 6.5-inch panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Honor has done a good job with the phone design by trimming the bottom chin, which makes way for a bigger display in the same form factor.
All three smartphones come with dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity options. Under the hood, the Honor 8X is powered by a Kirin 710 octa-core SoC. It is paired with 4GB / 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage options. The Mi A2, is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Lastly, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM, and 32GB / 64GB onboard storage options.
