Honor India has just announced the launch of a new red variant of its mid-range Honor 8X smartphone. The company revealed that the device is scheduled to go on sale starting today as an Amazon India exclusive. For some context, the company launched the device back on October 16 and other color variants of the device are already on sale. The new red color joins the existing Navy Blue and Midnight Black color options in the Indian market as the third color variant. The Honor 8X is priced from Rs 14,999 in India, and is available to buy on Amazon India and the company’s Honor India e-store.
Interestingly, the Honor 8X red variant was first teased on the Honor India e-store through a promotional sale for Re 1 on November 20. However, this being a promotional offer, only a limited number of units were actually put on sale at the symbolic price of Re 1.
