Honor today took the wraps off the Honor 9 Lite smartphone. Priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 14,999 for the 32GB variant and 64GB variant respectively, the company will conduct its first flash sale for the smartphone on January 21 at 12:00AM. The sale will take place exclusively via Flipkart.
To add to the premium look of the phone, the smartphone comes with a glossy finish at the back and is available in three color options – Navy Blue, Seagull Grey, and Magic Nightfall (black). The company has, however, not revealed any launch offers that will be available during the first sale with the smartphone.
Talking about the USP, the Honor 9 Lite sports four cameras; two at the front and two at the back. Both the camera setups comes with a 13 megapixel + 2-megapixel configuration. The cameras let users take bokeh effect selfies along with other features such as gesture control, software assisted beauty mode, whereas the rear-camera setup has features such as PDAF and LED flash for low-light photography.
In terms of other specifications, the smartphone features a 5.65-inch FullView FHD+ display with 428 ppi. It is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core SoC. The phone runs on the latest EMUI 8.0 OS which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Apart from being 4G VoLTE compatible, the phone has other standard features such as a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone, accelerometer, proximity, compass, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a micro USB 2.0. Powering the phone is a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery which runs for about a full day depending on your usage.
