Huawei-backed Honor launched the Honor 9 in June. Back then the company had launched the 64GB variant (4GB RAM), and the 128GB variant (6GB RAM). Now, the company has launched a new variant in Europe, dubbed Honor 9 Premium. This variant comes with 128GB storage and 6GB of RAM. This variant is priced at 450, which is Rs 33,300 approximately. In comparison, the top-variant of the Honor 9 launched in China is priced around Rs 28,500. According to Winfuture, the Honor 9 Premium is officially introduced in Italy, and the smartphone is said to be available exclusively through Tre and 3 carriers. The smartphone is up for pre-order in Switzerland as well, but will only be available on August 28.
In terms of design, the Honor 9 Premium looks exactly like the Honor 9. It comes with a curved glass back, and a metal frame with a reflective back. At the rear, there is the camera module and the flash along with the Honor branding. Up front, Honor has the front home button with the fingerprint sensor embedded. In terms of specifications, the smartphone comes with a 5.15-inch FHD (1080p) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood is a HiSilicon s 64-bit Kirin 960 chipset. On the photography front, the smartphone comes with the dual-camera setup. The primary sensor is 12-megapixel RGB, while the secondary sensor is 20-megapixel monochrome. Huawei has also equipped the phone with a hybrid zoom. Other camera features include Bokeh effect and GIFs. The front camera comes with 8-megapixel resolution. The rear camera supports 4K video recording and the front camera supports full-HD video recording as well.

There is currently no word though on whether Honor plans to launch its new smartphone in India. Recently, the company launched the Honor 8 Pro in India, which is priced at Rs 29,999. The smartphone is equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD (1440 2560 pixels) display, Kirin 960 octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. It houses a 4,000mAh battery. It sports a pair of a 12-megapixel RGB and a 12-megapixel monochrome sensor on the back panel with LED flash, PDAF, auto-focus, f/2,2 aperture and 4K video recording. Up front, it has an 8-megapixel camera.
