Chinese smartphone maker and telecommunications giant Huawei s sub-brand Honor is planning to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market. The company is all set to launch the device on July 24 at a launch event in New Delhi. The company has been teasing the event on its social media channels with the help of Bollywood actors to generate the hype around the device. The company has not issued any statement about what we can expect when it comes to the pricing or availability details about the device. As previously reported, the company is planning to launch a rebranded Honor 9i (2018) as the Honor 9N in India. The company has already launched the device last month in the Chinese market. The device will be launching as a Flipkart exclusive. The launch event is scheduled to kick off at 11:30AM on July 24, and it will be live streamed online. Honor 9N Specifications
Honor 9N will sport similar hardware to that present in the Honor 9i (2018), which means that we are likely to see a 5.84-inch display with FHD+ (2280 1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio.

The device will be powered by Kirin 659 SoC along with 4GB RAM, and GPU Turbo tech that can boost performance while playing games. Honor India may launch the device in two storage variants, the 64GB and 128GB along with the option for expandable storage with the help of microSD cards with a capacity of up to 256GB.
Honor 9N Pricing
The company had launched the Honor 9i (2018) priced at RMB 1,399 (approximately Rs 14,600) for the 64GB variant, and RMB 1,699 (approximately Rs 17,800) for the 128GB variant in the Chinese market.
Honor is likely to stick to similar price points when launching the smartphone in India. Though, it is also possible that the company could launch the device at a somewhat cheaper price to take on the competition.
