Honor India has posted a tweet on its official Twitter handle to inform everyone that the company is planning to launch its Honor 9N in the Indian market on July 24. According to the teaser that the company posted a video with the caption, “Beauty is not what meets the eye but an essence that is all around us!”. The company also asked its fans to “Get ready to witness beauty like never before” at the “grand launch” event. This comes right after the company started sending out media invites for the event along with teasers on social media about an upcoming smartphone.
As reported previously, we believed that the company was gearing up to launch the Honor 9X in the market but the teaser confirmed that it is launching the Honor 9N. However, it is likely that similar to the previous reports where we speculated that the company was planning to rebrand its existing Honor 9i (2018) that it launched in the Chinese market last month, as the Honor 9X, it is likely that Honor 9N will also be a rebranded Honor 9i (2018).

According to the teaser video, we know that the device will come with a dual-camera setup on the back along with an LED module and a fingerprint scanner. The back of the device will also come with a glass finish that we saw with the recently launched devices such as the Honor 10, Huawei P20 Lite, and other devices.
Honor 9N specifications
Considering that the Honor 9N will be a simple rebrand of the Honor 9i (2018) that was launched in China last month. The Honor 9N is likely to come with a 5.84-inch display with FHD+ (2280×1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
Huawei likely to add Kirin 659 chipset along with 4GB RAM, and GPU Turbo tech that can boost performance while playing games. The company may launch the device in two storage variants, the 64GB and 128GB along with the option for expandable storage with the help of microSD cards with a capacity of up to 256GB.
