Huawei s sub-brand Honor has today added a new device to its portfolio with the launch of Holly 4 in India. As the name suggests, the Holly 4 is the successor to last year’s Honor 3. The new smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999, and it is available at Honor retail stores across India. Buyers will be able to choose from grey, gold and silver color options. The Honor Holly 4 comes with a metallic body with curved corners. The device is 8.2mm thick, and comes with the volume rocker and power button on the right-hand side. At the back, there is a circular fingerprint scanner placed below the camera lens. The LED flash is placed at the left-hand side of the camera.

Honor Holly 4 features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 quad-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. It also comes with a 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD.
On the camera front, the phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF support, LED flash, and comes with different camera modes like Timelapse, slow motion, Pro Video and Pro picture. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone gets its juice from a 3,020mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the Holly 4 supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, micro USB v2.0, OTG, and dual-SIM card slots. On the software front, the device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based on EMUI 5.1 out-of-the-box. In comparison, last year’s Honor Holly 3 was launched with a 5.5-inch HD display, Kirin 620 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB onboard storage with microSD card support. The rest of the features included a 13-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,100mAh battery.
At the given price tag, the Honor Holly 4 will compete against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, YU Yureka 2, and Moto G5. The Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs 10,999, while the other two are available for Rs 11,999 respectively.

Lastly, the Moto G5 flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1080p) and is powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and there is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto G5 is backed by a 2,800mAh battery.
