Honor, the e-brand of Chinese smartphone maker Huawei, started teasing the launch of its next flagship smartphone early today. The company is expected to launch the Honor Note 10 as the next flagship smartphone sometime this month. Now, the smartphone stopped by Geekbench to detail its performance.
The Honor Note 10 is said to be codenamed Ravel and the listing on Geekbench is codenamed HUAWEI RVL-AL09. This smartphone is most likely the upcoming Honor Note 10. The benchmark listing reveals the smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is equipped with 6GB of RAM. The processor listed on the benchmark has eight cores and its base clock frequency is 1.84GHz. This processor should be the Kirin 970, the flagship processor found under the hood of Honor 10 and Huawei-branded P20 and P20 Pro.
As the name implies, the Honor Note 10 is expected to be the phablet variant of company’s Honor 10 flagship smartphone. There are reports of the smartphone featuring a large 6.9-inch Samsung-made display and rumors suggest it will also pack a large 6,000mAh battery. The Honor Note 10 will be the successor to Honor Note 8, which was launched in 2016. The company did not introduce a successor last year and seems to be skipping the Honor Note 9 branding.
In terms of Geekbench score, the Huawei Honor Note 10 scored 1901 in single-core test and 6818 in the multi-core test. The score seems to be in-line with other smartphones powered by Kirin 970 chipset. As with any other Huawei or Honor smartphone, the Note 10 will also include a number of AI features built right into the product.

The teaser shows that Honor Note 10 will have thin bezel design and offer rounded edges with usual array of sensors and dual front-facing camera. The back of the device might sport horizontally stacked dual camera system while fingerprint could be at the centre. Honor has been challenging the likes of other Chinese rivals including Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo in its home market and with Honor Note 10, it will aim for a share in the phablet segment.
