Honor, Huawei’s e-brand, is set to launch its next phablet, the Note 10, in China today. The device is widely expected to be a competitor to the recently launched Mi Max 3 from Xiaomi that too features a tablet-sized display in a smartphone form factor.
The launch event is set to take place in Beiing, and the event is expected to start at 11:00AM IST. The live telecast of the event will be available on a dedicated page for the smartphone on Honor’s microsite. The Honor Note 10 will be the successor to Honor Note 8, and there have been a number of leaks leading up to this launch that suggest what to expect from the Chinese smartphone maker. According to Canalys, Huawei remains the leading smartphone player in China, but over 50 percent of the sales come from its Honor brand, which only signifies the launch of the Honor Note 10.

Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition
It is not unusual for Chinese smartphone makers to tie up with big name automotive brands to launch customized version of their mobile devices. Recently, Oppo partnered Lamborghini to launch a custom version of its Find X flagship, while Huawei has a partnership with Porsche Design. Now, Huawei’s sister brand Honor is planning to partner Rolls Royce for the Honor Note 10.
The company is expected to launch Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition with same specifications as the standard variant but minor difference in terms of design. The back of the device is expected to feature Rolls Royce logo, and the phone might be offered brushed metallic finish. The top end variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage might be reserved for this particular variant.
