Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched a handful of smartphones in India this year, with the latest being Honor Play. Having a starting price of Rs 19,999, the gaming-centric Honor Play offers quite a few interesting goodies, including Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology. The smartphone is now receiving a new system update that brings some new features and bug fixes.

According to a report by The Android Soul, the update brings a new ‘4D Smart Shock’ feature to the Honor Play. Contrary to what the excessively-funky sounding name may have you believe, it just adds vibration effects that are designed to work with specific titles. Currently, ‘4D Smart Shock’ only works with PUBG and Asphalt 9 – Legends, but support for more games should be coming soon.

In addition, the update, weighing 0.93GB, patches up a call recording issue that was earlier reported by users. It also includes some security patches. As is always the case with OTA rollouts, the update may take some time to reach all Honor Play units.
