After recently launching the Honor View10 smartphone in India, the company has now promised to launch a quad-camera device by end of this month. Honor also assures that it will place the smartphone in an affordable category.
If we recall, the Honor 9i was also lined in the affordable segment, priced at Rs 17,999. Besides being the company’s first smartphone with two set of dual-cameras, the device was also Honor’s first to come with a FullView display.
The Honor 9i sport a combination of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel front cameras. The front cameras were equipped with smart selfie tone flash, which adjusts the lighting required while taking a photo. At the rear, the smartphone houses a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual-camera setup.
As for specifications, the Honor 9i is powered by in-house Kirin 659 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.36GHz paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card. Fuelling the device is a 3,340mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 based on top.
