In a first, the Honor V9 smartphone has just surfaced on China s certification body, TENAA. Never before has the device been spotted online. Based on the leaks, the successor to the Honor V8 is expected to be available in two RAM variants of 4GB and 6GB. Just in time for the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, the Honor V9 could accompany the Honor 8 Lite which has also been detailed in a series of leaks.
According to the certification on TENAA, the Honor V9 appears to feature a metal unibody with slightly rounded corners and antenna lines running on the top and bottom. On the back panel rest the dual camera module, LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right, while the left side houses a SIM/microSD card slot. There is no physical home button on the front panel, giving the display a slightly low bezel-like appearance.
