Huawei sub-brand Honor has started rolling out software updates for a couple of its smartphones in India. The Honor View10 and the Honor 7X both get support for the GPU Turbo technology courtesy of the new update.
The update takes the Honor View10‘s software version to 126.96.36.199, and introduces a couple of interesting features. The software update being rolled out is about 472MB in size, and brings in the latest Android security patch. Additionally, the device gets support for GPU Turbo technology that enhances the overall gaming experience. The update also adds artificial image stabilization to the device’s cameras, which will no doubt be powered by Artificial Intelligence. There is also a bug fix for users who are Bharti Airtel subscribers.
The Honor 7X, on the other hand, is being updated to version 188.8.131.520. Besides adding support for GPU Turbo, the update also introduces a bunch of new features. These include call recording support that allows users to record their phone calls, a new Party Mode app that allows users to sync music playback across compatible phones for a more impressive sound.

As with such OTA updates, Honor is rolling these out in a phased manner. So if you’ve not received a notification yet, you should be in the coming days. Alternatively, you can head over to the Settings menu to manually check for the update. Both updates are quite big in size, so it is advisable to have a steady Wi-Fi connection before starting the process.
