Asus is hosting an event in Taipei today at Computex 2016, where it is widely expected to take the wraps off the next-generation Zenfone 3 smartphones. As per the leaks we have come across so far, the company is expected to unveil the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Max and the Zenfone 3 Deluxe today. Asus Zenfone 3 specifications, features: Though we are less than an hour away from the launch, the rumor mills aren’t taking a break. A leaked internal document suggests that the Zenfone 3 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe specifications, features: The Deluxe variant is said to feature a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and a 23-megapixel rear camera.
Asus Zenfone 3 Max specifications, features: The document mentions a device with a 6-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and a fingerprint scanner. It also comes with 23-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera with OIS, and a 4,600mAh battery. Though the document mentions the device as Zenfone 3 Ultra, it could very well be launched as the Zenfone 3 Max.
The leakster warns that these documents are from February, and chances are a lot of details may change by the time Asus launches the smartphones today.
