Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL event: Where and how to watch the live stream at 8:30PM tonight

We are less than three hours away from the Pixel 3 launch event, and here’s everything you need to know.

All the leaks and rumors that we have come across over the past few months will be put to rest when Google officially releases the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones later today. The event is set to take place in New York, and it will kick off at 11:00AM local time, which corresponds to 8:30PM IST. As usual, Google will be streaming the event live on its YouTube channel (embedded below).

We know that Google is launching the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, but these aren’t the only products and rumors hint at other devices too. Both smartphones will support wireless charging feature, and the company is also expected to launch an accessory called the Pixel Stand to wirelessly charge the device.

Talking about specifications, both smartphones are expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage options. A variant with 6GB of RAM and 256GB storage is also expected. Up front, both smartphones are expected to come with dual cameras of 8-megapixel resolution, whereas at the back, a single camera of 12.2-megapixel resolution is expected.

Besides the smartphones, a Pixel Slate tablet, and PixelBook 2 laptop is also likely to be unveiled. Leaks have also hinted at a new Chromecast with improved hardware, Google Home Hub, and a smart speaker. What all Google finally announces we will come to know later tonight, so stay tuned.
