HTC 10 specifications, features: The smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch QHD Super LCD 5 display, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, and 32GB and 64GB internal storage options, which can be further expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The HTC 10 also features a 12-Ultrapixel 2 rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and 4K video recording capabilities, 5-megapixel selfie camera with OIS, and the world s first stereo 24-bit Hi-Res audio recording capabilities, which HTC says is able to capture up to 256 times more detail than standard recordings.
The HTC 10 also boasts a fingerprint scanner embedded into the physical home button, BoomSound Hi-Fi edition, Dolby Audio, and a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under Sense UI.
All eyes will be on the pricing bit, and if HTC gets it right, the HTC 10 will compete well with the Samsung Galaxy S7. In the US, the smartphone was launched for $699, which is approximately Rs 46,400. While the price tag in India will be higher, anything around the Rs 50,000 mark should be competitive.
