If you recall, at a launch event few months back, HTC CEO Cher Wang had mentioned that the company will be releasing a Hero phone in October. Last week the rumor mill started buzzing about another smartphone called the HTC O2. Now, the latest reports coming from a Chinese website Mobile-Dad state that the HTC Aero is still in pipeline and might launch as the HTC A9. The report sheds some lights on its rumored specifications. The HTC A9 could be powered by MediaTek s deca-core Helio X20 chipset and expected to feature a 2.5D curved glass to offer an excellent viewing experience. Also Read - HTC Wildfire E Lite listed on Google Play Console
The report further states that the HTC A9 will feature an all-metal build and will be offered in Dark Gray and Tyrant Gold color options. Expected to be priced between $470 (approximately Rs 30,500) to $626 (approximately Rs 40,960), the HTC A9 could come with a groundbreaking rear camera. It s worth nothing that HTC has been constantly bombarded with criticism regarding its camera unit. Be it the ultra pixel sensor or the latest Toshiba made 20-megapixel sensor on the One M9 and One M9+, both have failed to impress the users.
As these specifications come from a leaked report, take this information with a grain of salt. If at all, there is any truth in it, more details should start pouring in the coming weeks.
