HTC accidentally leaked a new phone on its European website suggesting an imminent launch. To be positioned as the successor to Desire 300, the Desire 310 was taken down from the website before it could enjoy some attention. According to a report by GSMArena, the dual-SIM phone is said to feature a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) screen, a 5-megapixel primary camera, and a VGA front shooter. Powering it is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM, running on MediaTek chipset, making the 310 HTC’s first device to use a MediaTek chip. Internal memory is 4GB while it can be expanded using a microSD card. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and comes with a 2,000mAh battery.
