HTC may launch a new smartphone called the Desire 530 soon, which has been spotted in an online listing on a Netherland-based retailer Centralpoint. While we are hearing of the Desire 530 for the first time, the listing doesn’t mention any of its specifications and features.
The listing reveals that the smartphone will be priced in the lower mid-range segment, above €190 (approximately Rs 14,250). The online retailer also expects the smartphone to be in stock by February 23, hinting that it may be announced around MWC 2016. That’s not all; the smartphone will be available in Graphite Gray and Stratus White color options, the listing reveals.
While the listing doesn’t mention anything about the specifications and features, the smartphone is likely to be a refreshed version of the Desire 526, which was launched last year. The Desire 526 flaunts a 4.7-inch qHD display running at a resolution of 540×960 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 SoC. With 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of online storage, the smartphone also has a microSD card slot for further expansion.
Keeping this in mind, the Desire 530 isn’t really expected to be a powerhouse, but may get some hardware and software refresh.
With MWC 2016 just a little over a couple of weeks away, we expect more details about the Desire 530 to pour in.
