HTC has added yet another smartphone to its Desire series, called the Desire 626 Dual-SIM. The smartphone is priced at Rs 14,990, and will be available in blue lagoon and white birch colors at major retailers from next week onwards. It is worth noting that the company had first launched the Desire 626 in Taiwan in single-SIM avatar a year back. While it may have retained the name, the Desire 626 launching today features dual-SIM card slots and a different set of specifications and features. HTC Desire 626 Dual-SIM specifications and features: The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. On the camera front, the device sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and BSI sensor. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front facing camera with 1080p video recording capabilities. It also features a 2,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, and a micro-USB 2.0 port. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android wrapped under HTC Sense.

When you consider the price tag and the list of specifications and features that are on offer, the Desire 626 Dual-SIM will face competition from the likes of the Lenovo Vibe S1 and the OnePlus X among others. These smartphones offer a better set of specifications than HTC.
