As far as the specifications go, the HTC Desire 626G+ seems to be another version of the HTC Desire 626 with an octa-core chipset. It flaunts a 5-inch HD 720p display and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. On the camera front, the HTC Desire 626G+ sports a 13-megapixel BSI rear sensor, and a 5-megapixel BSI front sensor with capabilities of 1080p video recording. It packs a 2,000mAh Li-polymer battery and runs on HTC Sense UI based on Android (not mentioned but should be Android 4.4 KitKat). Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual-SIM (nano SIM) support. The smartphone does not support LTE like the HTC Desire 626.
The smartphone is available in Blue Lagoon and White Birch color variants. At this spec and price point, the HTC Desire 626G+ is set to compete with Huawei Honor 6, Gionee E7 Mini and Micromax Canvas Selfie A255.
