At CES earlier this year, HTC took the wraps off the Desire 826. The Taiwanese company now seems to be planning on bringing the smartphone to India. As per the retailer, stocks for the Desire 826 will be arriving in 2-3 days, which is an indication that an official announcement is not too far off. The smartphone is currently listed on HTC’s India website under the Coming Soon tag. The Desire 826 flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with a pixel density of 401ppi, and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core (1.7GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core + 1GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core) processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card, 13-megapixel rear camera, 4-Ultrapixel snapper up front, BoomSound speakers, and a 2,600mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, wrapped under Sense UI.
