Earlier today HTC launched the One max phablet in India for Rs 56,490. Along with the ultra-premium phablet, HTC also launched a host of accessories like a power case, Mini+ and Fetch that are compatible with HTC’s premium range of smartphones. The HTC One max power case, as the name suggests, offers complete protection to the phablet against scratches and occasional drops. Additionally, with a 1,150mAh in-built battery, the moment one snaps on the case it starts charging the device. For faster charging, the case uses the Pogo pin on the phablet rather than the microUSB port. The One max power case is available for Rs 5,999. Fetch is a Bluetooth 4.0-enabled accessory that can be used to look for your device. In case you leave behind your phone and can’t find it, then clicking on the HTC Fetch will activate the phone’s ringtone. It also acts as a remote camera shutter button. It works at a distance of up to 15 meters and uses a replaceable battery which can last up to six months. The Fetch is compatible with the One mini, Butterfly S, One max. It is priced at Rs 2,399.
Finally, the HTC Mini+ is a companion Bluetooth-enabled handset, which is compatible with the One max, One, One mini, Butterfly, Butterfly S, Desire 200, Desire 300, Desire 500 and the Desire 601. It features a 1.5-inch (128×128 pixels) OLED display and can be used to receive phone calls, view texts or emails when you are away from your phone. It also acts as a remote control for your TV and can be used during a presentation with an in-built laser pointer. The Mini+ is priced at Rs 7,799.
These accessories are not compatible with other Android smartphones as HTC says it uses some proprietary software elements.
