HTC has officially unveiled its newly launched One series of smartphones – One X and One V. As part of the Go-To-Market strategy for this launch, HTC has joined hands with Bharti Airtel to introduce limited period offers with the two Android smartphones. Airtel subscribers purchasing the new devices till June 30 will get free download of 100 full songs, 500 MB data for three months and 200 minutes of Mobile TV. As far as specs are concerned the One X, HTC’s flagship for 2012, rocks a 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch S-LCD 2 display, Android 4.0 ICS, a 8-megapixel camera with 1080p recording, a 1800 mAh battery and 1GB of RAM.
The One V on the other hand is a lower specced device with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.7-inch AMOLED Display, 512 MB of RAM, and a 5-megapixel camera.
The MRP of the One X and One V is Rs 42,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively, though HTC suggests a best buy price of Rs 37,899 and Rs 18,299. We also suggest checking prices at some online retailers, who may be able to give an even better deal.
