HTC is gearing up for its October 20 event where the company is expected to finally unveil the One A9, its first smartphone that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. With less than a week to the expected launch, the leaks have far from stopped and it has now been spotted on French carrier Orange website. HTC One A9 design: From the numerous leaked photos we have come across so far, HTC seems to have opted for a very iPhone-like design. The front is dominated by the display with thick bezels and a home button at the bottom. At the back is a protruding camera with an LED flash placed at the center. The smartphone features a metallic unibody design, and color options include acid gold, opal silver, deep garnet, carbon gray, rose gold and cast iron. HTC One A9 specifications and features: As per rumors, the smartphone is expected to flaunt a 5-inch full HD (1080p) display, and under the hood is Qualcomm s Snapdragon 615 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM.
It is also expected to feature 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. On the photography department, the smartphone is expected to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a BSI sensor and optical image stabilization, while up front the company is expected to stick with its 4-Ultrapixel snapper.
Also expected are 2,150mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button up front. Connectivity options included are 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, and as mentioned above, this is likely to be HTC s first smartphone to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box wrapped under Sense UI.
HTC One A9 price: According to the listing on Orange s website, the One A9 is reportedly priced at 599.90, which roughly translates to Rs 44,344.
