Following the leaked photos which showed off a 360 degree view of the HTC One (M8) Prime, an alleged photo of the company’s unannounced One (M8) Ace smartphone has leaked online. The photo posted by ifanr give a glimpse of the phone’s back panel which seems to be made out of plastic, confirming that the Ace would be a relatively cheaper, plastic variant of the One (M8). HTC too has teased a new phone by tweeting that “More beautiful curves coming soon,” which could indicate that the launch is not far off. As seen in the photo, the phone will be made entirely out of polycarbonate instead of metal, which is done mainly to cut down the cost of the phone. Apart from the chassis, the phone looks quite similar to its premium variant, though a noticeable thing is that it appears to have lacked a Duo Camera setup, which was used on the One (M8).
Specifications-wise, rumors so far have suggested that the HTC One (M8) Ace will come with a 5-inch 1080p display and will be powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 801 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.5GHz. This will compete with the Galaxy S5, both in terms of features and price.
