While we do know that HTC has plans to launch its new flagship smartphone — possibly called the HTC One M9 — at the Mobile World Congress next month, it seems the company has a few more handsets in store for the event. Prolific leakster @upleaks has revealed the hardware specifications of the HTC One M8i. From the specs, the handset appears to be a mid-range alternative to the last year s flagship smartphone. From the listing, the HTC One M8i sports a 5-inch 1080p display. Other features of the handset include dual camera setup at the back with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel and dual LED flash, and a 5-megapixel snapper upfront. It also supports Bluetooth 4.1. The handset packs in little less than 3,000 mAh battery, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and Sense 7.0 skin atop.
According to upleaks, the handset will be launched in Asia, China, Europe in gray, gold, and silver color options. We should expect the handset to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress event next month.
