The successor of the One (M8) has been doing the rumor rounds for quite a while. After the spec leaks and speculations on its name, the latest development reveals that all rumors will be put to rest during CES 2015. Nowherelse.fr’s Steve Hemmerstoffer has tipped that the HTC One (M9) aka Hima will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show which will be held between January 6 and January 9 in 2015. The tweet also includes an alleged press render of the forthcoming flagship device, showing the device splashed with color. This tweet also contradicts previous rumors that pegged its release at MWC 2015. Latest rumored specs of the device include a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor (2GHz Cortex-A57 quad-core + 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core) paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone is also believed to feature 20.7-megapixel rear camera, while on the front it could either feature a 13-megapixel snapper or a 4-Ultrapixel snapper. Also likely to be included are 2,840mAh battery, Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under HTC Sense 7.0 UI.
