HTC’s One (M9) is one of the worst kept secrets as we inch closer to its unveiling at MWC later tonight. Numerous leaks have already shown us everything we need to know about the device, and now a hands-on video shows the forthcoming flagship in all its glory. The hands-on video posted by Samia Lou seems to have been recorded during an embargoed event for the press at Barcelona. Unfortunately for HTC, it couldn’t prevent its showstopper from leaking onto the Internet. Also Read - Samsung Galaxy A42 5G full specifications and features revealed
The video essentially confirms most of the leaks we have come across so far. In terms of design, the One (M9) looks quite similar to its predecessor, albeit with a few cosmetic changes. The unibody design now gets a two-tone look — silver at the back and golden/bronze on the side. Also confirmed is the squarish camera lens at the back that replaces the Duo Camera setup, and the fact that the 4-Ultrapixel camera has been moved to the front. While the video doesn’t quite talk about the specifications, we have heard that it will feature a 5-inch full HD 1080p display, and will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM.
The flagship will also include 32GB of internal storage, which could be further expanded via microSD card, 20-megapixel main sensor, 4-Ultrapixel front camera, and on the software front it will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense UI 7.
HTC’s MWC event kicks off at 8:30PM IST tonight and you can watch the live stream here. In the meantime, the hands-on video is embedded below.
