As seen above, HTC tweeted, “We’re roasting marshmallows this fall! We’ll begin our @Android 6.0 rollout to devices before the end of the year.”
Among the first HTC smartphones to receive the update will be the flagship One M9 and the One (M8). These smartphones are likely to get the update before the end of 2015. Other smartphones due for the update include HTC One M9+, One E9, One E9+, One ME, One (E8), One (M8 Eye), and the recently launched Butterfly 3.
The company also plans to bring the latest Android update to selected Desire smartphones, including the Desire 816, Desire 820, and the Desire 826. The Taiwanese company has not yet revealed a proper timeline as to when the updates will roll out.
