After being subjected to a handful of leaks, HTC has put up a new teaser on its Weibo account, hinting that the One X9 could be unveiled today. The photo shows an outline of a smartphone with Merry X-Mas written on it. The letter X has been highlighted along with the capacitive buttons. There s a text below it which was decoded by Android Headlines, it reads A superior Christmas gift on December 24. So, HTC could finally take wraps off the smartphone, later today. HTC One X9 specifications and features: The smartphone was recently spotted on China s TENAA, which shed light on some of its specifications and features. The One X9 is likely to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display, 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage along with microSD card slot.
It is also expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) and support for 4K video recording, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS are also expected in tow. Unlike the One A9 though, the One X9 could run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop at launch.
There s no word on the pricing and availability at the moment, but we ll come to know when HTC officially unveils it later today.
