HTC had already made it clear before that it won’t be unveiling its flagship One M10 aka Perfume smartphone at this year’s MWC. But the Taiwanese company has launched new smartphones at the trade show — not one, but four of them. HTC has launched three mid-range smartphones — Desire 530, Desire 630 and the Desire 825. HTC One X9 specifications and features: The One X9 was launched in China towards the end of last year, and the one unveiled last night is the international variant. While it has stuck to the metal unibody design, HTC has pushed the BoomSound speakers towards the very top and bottom of the device. It will be available in four colors — Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold, and Cooper Rose.
The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display, and it is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) octa-core chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. It also offers 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The One X9 also features a 13-megapixel rear snapper with OIS and 4K video recording capabilities, Ultrapixel f/2.0 selfie camera, 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, and 4G LTE support. It runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box, with Sense UI running atop.
HTC has also launched three mid-range Desire smartphones at MWC. All three boast a polycarbonate body, which have been treated with a micro-splash process that creates a unique pattern of paint specs on each phone.
HTC Desire 530 specifications and features: It features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 chipset, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot. It also features an 8-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel selfie camera.
HTC Desire 630 specifications and features: It features a 5-inch 720p display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots and 4G LTE support.
HTC Desire 825 specifications and features: It features a 5.5-inch HD Super LCD display, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 2,700mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots and LTE support. The smartphone boasts a pair of BoomSound speakers with Dolby support, and is also bundled with a pair of Hi-Res headphones.
