HTC has a big event lined up for tonight, where it is rumored to launch a GoPro rival sports camera, reportedly called ReCamera. Ahead of the event, the company has posted a teaser on its new YouTube channel called ReByHTC to give us a glimpse of what the device is capable of. Titled Catching Air , the video exhibits a wide angle lens on the ReCamera probably mounted on top of a thin cylinder. Much like its previous teaser, the company hasn t revealed the device, however, from what is visible, it is definitely a lot portable and could have a body shaped like a toy periscope. From what we know so far, the ReCamera is a tube -shaped shooter consisting of a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens. It is said to have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a companion app for Android and iOS devices. We will know more at the event later tonight, where the company is also expected to launch HTC Desire Eye.
