HTC to launch One A9, Desire 828 in India on November 25: Report

Despite the lack of information, there are a few speculations around what HTC is planning to launch in India next week. As per 91Mobiles, the company could be launching the One A9 and the Desire 828 in India. HTC unveiled the One A9 in October, while the Desire 828 was launched in China earlier this month.

HTC s One A9 is a mid-end premium smartphone with a design that is strikingly similar to Apple s iPhone 6. While many have criticized the company for copying the design, HTC doesn t see it as copying and vehemently defended its designers. In fact it plans to extend this design language to the One M and Desire series as well.

HTC One A9 specifications and features: The smartphone features a 5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core chipset, 2GB of RAM (16GB variant) and 3GB of RAM (32GB variant), and a microSD card slot.

It also features a 13-megapixel primary camera with OIS, 4-Ultrapixel selfie camera, 2,150mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. Connectivity options include 4G support, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth and GPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under the Sense UI.

htc-desire-828HTC Desire 828 specifications and features: The Desire 828 is the first smartphone in this series to boast a camera with optical image stabilization capabilities. There is a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash at the back, and an UltraPixel camera up front.

The smartphone also features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage, which can be further be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. Also on offer is a 2,800mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual SIM cards, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Sense 6 UI.
