HTC has expanded its U11 series by adding two new phones, HTC U11 Life and HTC U11 Plus. While the HTC U11 Plus is aimed towards the premium segments, the HTC U11 Life is a mid-ranger. HTC isn’t re-using any of the flagship smartphone’s components in the new devices.
Launched at a price of $349 (Rs 22,500 approximately), the HTC U11 Life is slightly constrained when it comes to specifications. Which means, you will see a few features dropped a notch here and there, however, there are a few additions as well, that is considerable. Of course, the Edge Sense technology remains.
The HTC U11 Life features a 5.2-inch Super LCD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixel, protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone will run Android 8.0 Oreo with Android One, whereas in North America it will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
