The HTC U11 was launched at a price of in the US last month at $749, which translates to Rs 48,000. If launched around the same price, the smartphone will sit in the premium segment and will be one of the first few smartphones to boast Qualcomm’s most advanced chipset – Snapdragon 835. The HTC U11 boasts a 3D liquid glass surface that adds to the overall aesthetic appearance of the device. It features a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users can further boost the storage up to 2TB via microSD card. The camera is another highlight of the HTC U11 smartphone. It is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with UltraPixel technology, 5-axis OIS, EIS and f/1.7 aperture. It supports 4K video recording with 360-degree sound recording. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with 150-degree wide-angle lens. HTC claims that the U11 has achieved a DxOMark score of 90 which is said to be the highest ever awarded to a smartphone camera. It is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, the HTC U11 runs Android Nougat 7.1 out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. In terms of other features, the smartphone has IP57 rating for water and dust resistance. It also supports USB Type-C audio.
