The new HTC U12 Life might be coming on August 30, at least that’s what company’s teaser image on Twitter suggests. HTC on Thursday has tweeted an image on Twitter noting “Something new for U – 30.08.18” and the tweet reads “Beauty and power meet on August 30th 2018.”
Rumors around HTC U12 Life have been around since late last month. The handset has been tipped as a mid-range device with Snapdragon 636 in leaks. It is also suggested that the device will not be made by HTC, instead it will be an ODM device.
Earlier this month, the smartphone design was leaked online through a sketched render. HTC U12 Life is likely to adopt the Google Pixel-like two part design back from first generation of Pixel smartphones. According to the sketch design via a Dutch website, the U12 Life will feature an 18:9 or 19:9 aspect ratio screen with higher dimension and thick edges, two rear cameras, and a fingerprint reader located at the back of the smartphone. It is said to use two different materials in its construction – possibly glass and metal.
