First talking about the Ascend D Quad, this Android 4.0 beast (featured as the world’s fastest smartphone) rocks a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, an 8.0MP camera and 8.9 mm thick. Along with Dolby 5.1 surround sound and a 1,800mAh battery. The Ascend D quad runs on Huawei’s own processor clocked up to 1.5GHz. The Ascend D Quad XL is nothing but D Quad’s larger brother with an extended 2500mAh battery (should last for 2-3 days) and measures at 10.9mm in terms of thinness. Needless to say, it is also based on Android 4.0 just like its smaller version and features an 8.0MP camera at the rear.
Huawei is expecting a worldwide launch for the Ascend D Quad and Ascend D Quad XL should see the dawn in the following regions by the end of Q2 – China, Australia, Europe, Asia-Pacific, North and South America, and the Middle East.
