After launching the Ascend Y210D, Ascend Y300 and the G510 in the last couple of months, Chinese mobile vendor Huawei seems to be gearing up for another launch in India. A report on TheMobileIndian claims that Huawei is planning to launch the 6.1-inch Ascend Mate phablet in India in June for Rs 29,000.
The device which was first showcased at the CES earlier this year, sports 6.1-inch IPS (720×1280 pixels) display with Magic Touch technology that is very similar to the display on the Nokia Lumia 920 enabling the user to use gloves with the panel. Other features included on the phablet are a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, memory expandable up to 32GB, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1-megapixel front camera and a massive 4,050mAH battery that has a fast charge mode
On the software side of things, the Ascend Mate runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean wrapped in Huawei’s Emotion UI.
