The recently launched Samsung Galaxy S 4 maybe the current undisputed king of Android phones, but other mobile makers it seems aren’t going to let Samsung’s flagship phone hold that crown for long. According to a report on Chinese website Mobile162.com, Huawei is reportedly working on a new flagship device that will directly compete with the Galaxy S 4.

According to the report Huawei’s yet unnamed flagship phone will only be 6.3mm thick and will sport a 4.9-inch Full-HD 1080p display. The phone will be powered by a next-gen 1.8GHz K3V3 Quad-core ARM Cortex A15 CPU and Mali T604 GPU and also include features like 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2,600mAh battery.

The report also claims that this flagship phone maybe launched sometime in April. Now let’s not forget that this is only a rumor and should be taken with a pinch of salt. But think about it, if Huawei were to actually launch a device with the above specs, we could have a phone that is not only as powerful as the Galaxy S 4, but also 10-20 percent cheaper.
