Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus, Enjoy Max launched: Specifications, features, and more

The two smartphones are rebranded versions of Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max, with slightly different specifications.

Expanding its ever-burgeoning mobile portfolio even further, Chinese technology major Huawei has launched two smartphones in China. Dubbed Enjoy 9 Plus and Enjoy Max, the two smartphones are essentially rebranded variants of Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max respectively, which Huawei launched last month under its Honor sub-brand. That said, the new devices come with slightly different specifications.

Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus: Specifications, features, and price

Powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, the Enjoy 9 Plus comes with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch FullHD+ notched display, with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, skinned with Huawei’s EMUI 8.2 overlay.

For imaging, the Enjoy 9 Plus has a dual-camera system at the back, comprised of a 16-megapixel sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front also has a dual-camera system, with one 13-megapixel sensor and one 2-megapixel sensor. All standard connectivity options are on-board, and a 4,000mAh battery rounds off the spec sheet.

Priced at 1,499 Yuan (4GB RAM/64GB storage) and 1,699 Yuan (6GB RAM/128GB storage), the two variants of Enjoy 9 Plus will go one sale from October 20 and October 25, respectively.

The bigger of Huawei’s two new smartphones, the Enjoy Max has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset under the hood, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The smartphone sports a massive 7.12-inch FullHD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch, as well as a resolution of 1080×2244 pixels. There’s Android 8.1 Oreo on-board, skinned with EMUI 8.2  overlay.

Talking about imaging, Huawei Enjoy Max has a dual-camera system at the back. It’s comprised of a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. Up front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone has all standard connectivity features, and is backed by a big 5,000mAh battery.

With a price of 1,699 Yuan (64GB storage) and 1,999 Yuan (128GB storage), the two variants of Huawei Enjoy Max will go on sale from October 20 and November 1, respectively.
