Huawei India has launched three fitness wearables — Huawei Band 2, Band 2 Pro and Huawei Fit — in India. While the Huawei Fit is priced at Rs 9,999, the Band 2 and Band 2 Pro are priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 4,599, respectively.
“With the newly-launched Huawei Fit and Huawei Band 2, we are confident of replicating the blockbuster success we had with the Honor Band 3 launched a couple of months ago,” said P Sanjeev, Vice President-Sales, Huawei and Honor Consumer Business, in a statement.
Huawei says the Fit will be available in two sizes and three colors – Black, Blue and Orange. Additionally, since the Fit is also a smartwatch, it is capable of providing alerts and notifications for calls and text messages. Huawei Band 2 Pro lets you run without a phone, performs more accurate distance and speed calculations and records the running track which you can share with your friends. The “Advanced Sleep Tracking” feature in Huawei Band 2 analyses sleep quality and gives the user personalised advice for sleep improvement based on current sleep data. Both Band 2 and Band 2 Pro have a built-in heart rate scanner, and an always-on POLED display. They are compatible with smartphones running Android 4.4 or higher and iOS 8.0 or higher. Out of the two fitness trackers, Huawei Band 2 Pro is certainly a higher variant. The highlight of the Band 2 Pro are its built-in GPS, and a ‘Professional Run Coach’ . The battery is 105mAh and should last around 21 days on standby or 7 days on a regular use. Further, it will be available in Smart Black and Bold Red color options.
