After launching the Honor 6X a couple of months ago, Huawei seems to be expanding the series with, what sounds like another variant of Honor 6 smartphone. Latest leaks suggest that Honor is working a new mid-segment smartphone, called the Honor 6S. The likely pricing of the smartphone is being speculated between $100 to $120, which translates to around Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000. In addition to that, the leaked renders reveal that there will be no dual camera setup. But the pictures do show a fingerprint sensor placed right below the rear camera. Presumably, the Honor 6s, could be just a lower variant of the Honor 6X, with a single camera setup, and other specifications remaining almost the same. Additionally, according to The Android Soul, the smartphone may hit the market by January 2017.
Talking about the recently launched Honor 6X, the smartphone features a metallic finish and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under its hood is Huawei s own Kirin 655 octa-core chipset clocked at 4 X 2.1GHz + 4 X 1.7GHz speeds, which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM. The smartphone follows the growing trend of dual-camera setup but skips the USB Type-C frenzy. ALSO READ: Honor 6X, Honor Pad 2 and Honor Watch S1 launched: Price, specifications and features

It also has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The rear camera is capable of video recording in up to 1080p resolution.
In terms of internal storage, the Honor 6X offers 32GB of on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
