We have been hearing a lot about the Huawei s upcoming smartphone, the Honor 8. While the smartphone was initially expected to be launched on July 5, but a recent teaser shared by company s President on Weibo confirmed the Honor 8 will be unveiled on July 11. Ahead of the official launch, the smartphone was recently spotted on Chinese certification site TENAA, revealing some key specifications and features. Now, the latest render of the Honor 8 smartphone has leaked online, showing off the front and back of the device. The leaked image shows off a white variant of the smartphone. As per the leaked image, design of the smartphone in the latest leaked renders looks very similar to the one spotted on TENAA website last month. It also reminds us of the Honor V8. The new leak though confirms the Honor 8 will come with a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.
Honor 8 specifications, features: From the past rumors we know that the Honor 8 will feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display and Kirin 950 chipset paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB onboard storage options are likely to be available.
On the camera front, a 12-megapxiel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone will come with connectivity options such as USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Honor 8 is rumored to come with a 2,900mAh battery. On the software front, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow along with Honor s custom UI is expected.
