From renders and live photos to the official teaser, we sure do know a lot about the upcoming Huawei Mate 10. Expected to launch on October 16 in Berlin, we already know that the smartphone will be powered by the newly-launched Kirin 970 SoC, and sport a dual-camera setup as well. A new poster has been put up by Huawei on its Twitter page with the caption, “#ThatFeelingWhen your battery lasts all day on a single charge #HuaweiMate10 coming 16th October 2017 . The tweet clearly points out that the company is confident that the 4,000mAh battery on the Huawei Mate 10 will last for one whole day once charged.
Just last month, Huawei confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be coming with Kirin 970 SoC under the hood. The Mate 10 is also said to share a new AI experience as well. The smartphone is also said to feature a dual-camera at the rear, which will be a combination of 12-megapixel RGB sensor and a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor. Following the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8-duo and LG G6, the Huawei Mate 10 will also feature 18:9 aspect ratio.
However, Mate 10 won’t be the only phone that Huawei might be launching. Reports suggest that Huawei might also launch the Mate 10 Pro alongside. Recently, few live images of what is said to be the Mate 10 Pro were leaked showing off its front and back panel. According to images, Mate 10 Pro is said to sport thin bezels at top and bottom. The home button up front is expected to be replaced with four on-screen buttons at the bottom, which also means that the fingerprint scanner will be shifted to the rear panel.
In terms of specifications, the Mate 10 Pro is said to flaunt a slightly bigger display when compared to Mate 10. It will come with the same 18:9 aspect ratio, and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. While the Mate 10 will come with 4,000mAh battery, the Pro variant is said to come with 4,200mAh battery. The camera resolutions of the Mate 10 Pro is not yet known.
In terms of pricing, the Mate 10 is expected to come in three variants – 64GB storage with 4GB RAM priced at RMB 4,299 (approximately Rs 42,100), 128GB storage with 6GB RAM priced at RMB 4,899 (approximately Rs 47,900), and the highest 6GB RAM plus 256GB will retail at RMB 5,599 (approximately Rs 54,800). As for the Mate 10 Pro, the smartphone is said to launch in four storage variants. The 64GB default storage is said to be priced at RMB 5,499 (approximately Rs 53,800), the 128GB storage model might be priced at RMB 6,199 (approximately Rs 60,700), and 256GB variant at RMB 6,899 (approximately Rs 67,500). All the above three variants will come paired with 6GB of RAM. The high-end variant with 256GB storage and 8GB of RAM will be priced at RMB 7,499 (approximately Rs 73,400).
