Huawei‘s Mate 10 smartphone has long been expected, but everybody has been awaiting an official announcement. The company has already sent out media invites for a launch event on October 16, where it will be launching the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. Thanks to the endless leaks and rumors, we already know a lot about the upcoming smartphone. In fact, Huawei has also confirmed some important features of the upcoming Mate 10. First spotted by slashleaks, it shows the rear panel of the device clearly, whereas the front panel is not clearly visible. At the back, we can see the dual-cameras placed vertically at the center. The LED flash is placed on the left-hand side. Right below it is a round-shaped fingerprint scanner. At the rear, from what we can see, the smartphone will come with very slim bezels. In terms of specifications, Huawei has confirmed that the smartphones will feature the newly-launched Kirin 970 SoC, and sport a dual-camera setup.
The Huawei Mate 10 is expected to feature a 5.9-inch EntireView display with 18:9 aspect ratio, while the Mate 10 Pro could flaunt an even bigger EntireView display with the same 18:9 aspect ratio, and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Both the smartphones are expected to pack 4,200mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphones will most likely run Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. Just like last year s line-up, Huawei is rumored to launch the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Porsche Edition (special edition) and Mate 10 Lite. The Huawei Mate 10 will further be available in three variants 64GB storage with 4GB RAM, 128GB storage with 6GB RAM and 256GB variant with 6GB RAM. The price of each variant is expected to be RMB 4,299 (approximately Rs 42,100), RMB 4,899 (approximately Rs 47,900), and RMB 5,599 (approximately Rs 54,800), respectively. The Mate 10 Pro, on the other hand, is rumored to launch in four storage variants. The 64GB storage is said to be priced at RMB 5,499 (approximately Rs 53,800), the 128GB storage model might be priced at RMB 6,199 (approximately Rs 60,700), and 256GB variant at RMB 6,899 (approximately Rs 67,500). These three variants will feature 6GB of RAM. The top variant is said to launch with 256GB storage and 8GB of RAM and is likely to be priced at RMB 7,499 (approximately Rs 73,400).
