Huawei has already confirmed that it will be launching its new flagship Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones on October 16. Naturally we re getting to see plenty of leaks around both devices. We can also say that we have a pretty good idea of the smartphones design. Only recently, Slahleaks posted a hands-on video of the Mate 20, confirming most of its design speculations. Now, the website is giving us a better look at the Mate 20 Pro by posting images of the smartphone in an official flip case.
The leaked images do not reveal anything new per se but do reiterate some of the previous rumors around the device. One of first things worth noting is the screen. It comes with a big notch at the top, and extremely thin bezels around it. The curve edges are also noticeable. One of talking points here is the notch. While the Mate 20 has been showcased to come with a waterdrop styled notch, the Mate 20 Pro features a much bigger notch at the top as it is said to carry 3D face recognition sensors much like the Apple iPhone X.
The images also confirm the device to come with a triple camera setup at the back, which is placed in a square housing. The three sensors are accompanied by an LED flash as well. It is also worth noting that like the Mate 20 there is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Mate 20 Pro. This again hints at the device to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the internals, both the Huawei Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro have been confirmed to be the first smartphones to come loaded with Huawei s new Kirin 980 SoC. The company claims it to be the first 7nm processor, which should help improve on performance while cutting down on battery consumption. Huawei recently announced that it will be launching the processor in India in the fourth quarter of the year, which means that the smartphones can be expected to launch in country somewhere around early November. However, that cannot be confirmed.

Rumors have also suggested the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro to come with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch AMOLED screens respectively. The two devices are also said to boast the latest Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-box. While we already know a great deal about the two smartphones, we re expecting more rumors to come out as we get closer to the launch date.
